Kairo may infer certain information from your activity and interactions, such as:
- topics you may be interested in;
- goals or skills that may be relevant to you;
- content that may help you progress;
- areas where you may need support;
- whether a reminder, prompt or recommendation may be useful;
- whether you appear to be inactive, stalled or returning to the service.
These inferences are used to personalise Kairo and support your progress. They are not intended to make legally binding or similarly significant decisions about you.
9.4 No Professional Advice or Guaranteed Accuracy
AI-generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, misunderstood or unsuitable for your circumstances.
Kairo does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, psychological, therapeutic, investment, employment, immigration, safety-critical or other professional advice.

This means your personal data may be processed, stored or accessed outside Ireland, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or your country of residence.
Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps designed to protect it in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
These steps may include:
- using providers located in countries recognised as providing adequate data protection;
- using standard contractual clauses or equivalent contractual safeguards;
- using data processing agreements with service providers;
- assessing transfer risks where required;
- applying technical and organisational safeguards;
- limiting access to personal data to what is necessary for the service being provided.
Some countries may not provide the same level of data protection as your country of residence. Where required by law, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your personal data when it is transferred internationally.
You can contact us at privacy@ambition.world if you would like more information about international transfers and the safeguards we use.

Because there is no single accepted standard for these signals, our response may vary depending on the signal, browser, device and legal requirement. Where required by applicable law, we will honour recognised opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for applicable advertising or tracking choices.

14. Data Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
The period for which we keep personal data may depend on:

- whether you have an active trial or subscription;
- whether the data is needed to provide Kairo;
- whether the data is needed for personalisation or service continuity;
- whether the data is needed for security, fraud prevention or abuse detection;

- whether we are required to keep the data by law.
In general, we keep personal data for the following periods:
- Account information (name, email, login credentials, account settings): kept while your account is active, and for up to 12 months after account closure to allow for reactivation, support follow-up and legitimate business purposes.
- Ambition Graph and personalisation data (goals, milestones, progress, preferences, interaction history): kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, this data is deleted within 90 days, except where retained in aggregated or anonymised form.

- Customer support records: kept for up to 3 years from the date of the support interaction.
- Security logs and fraud prevention data: kept for up to 12 months, or longer if needed to investigate suspected fraud or abuse.
- Marketing preferences and consent records: kept for as long as needed to respect your preferences, typically until you delete your account or 3 years after your last interaction with us.
- Cookie consent records: kept for up to 12 months to demonstrate your consent choices.
- Aggregated, anonymised or de-identified data: may be kept indefinitely because it no longer identifies you and is used for product improvement, analytics, training and content development.
If you request deletion of your personal data, we will handle the request in accordance with applicable law. We may retain certain information where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, regulatory, legitimate business or compliance purposes.
Data stored in backups may take additional time to delete or isolate, but we will not use backup data for active operational purposes unless restoration is necessary.
